ASTRONOMY
We are pleased to announce the development of a range of astronomical products made in our premises which will be available through the Internet worldwide. The number of products available at the moment is small but a number of other parts are in the development stage and will be coming on line in the near future.
We can produce anything you may need for your hobby and anything else. For this to happen you will need to supply us with a detailed plan of the part you require. Upon receipt of your request we will give you a price and a delivery date. Upon confirmation of your order we will manufacture the part and ship it. Parts regularly requested will be stocked and shipped immediately upon demand.
Parts are priced in Euros and payment will only be accepted via Paypal or a bank transfer. Cheques drawn on a French bank will only be accepted for the French market.
Packing and transport will be added to the price of the part and the price will vary according to which country it is shipped to. The transport cost will be supplied upon request. We are always looking for the cheapest mean of transport. The parts of course can be collected if you decide to do so.
Pedestal
The pedestal we manufacture can be made to fit any mount. The pedestal is made of 3 tubular pipes which reduces vibration. We have discovered that this method of manufacturing the pedestal with 3 tubes makes it more stable that 1 single metal pipe and is also cheaper.
The pedestal can be made to any height you choose but we stock 2 heights for prompt despatch; the 50cm pedestal for the Newtonian (reflector) and the 100cm for the refractors and CATs.
Heads for the EQ6 & EQ5 and the mount of the type CG5
Our heads are manufactured to give maximum stability and ease of pointing. The east stop has 3 positions to give easy polar pointing as when the pedestal is fitted to the ground and the adjustment on the mount is insufficient to point the mount correctly, the only option is to re-site the pedestal. Our solution solves this problem.
The heads are also fitted with a large level making the horizontal adjustment easy.
From experience we have learned that 3 bolts and nuts are enough to level the head correctly and strong enough to stop all vibration. 4 bolts and nuts make this operation more difficult without any real benefit.
There are also 4 fixation holes on the bottom part of the head which allows our heads to be fitted to the pedestal of your choice. Pedestals made of concrete are sometime used in fixed observatories.
ACCESSORY BAR CELESTRON
The accessory bar can be made for any type of telescope depending on your requirement.
ACCESSORY BAR WITH COUNTERWEIGHT
The counterweight eases the balancing of an optical tube fitted with a CCD camera, filter wheel, focuser and any other type of accessory you may wish to attach to your telescope.
ADDITIONAL COUNTERWEIGHTS
The accessory bar is supplied with 1 counterweight. Additional counterweights can be purchased and the accessory bar can take up to 3 counterweights.

As previously mentioned if you wish a part to be manufactured for you, you will need to send a diagram of the part plus all the dimensions. A quote will then be sent to you. Upon your acceptance of the quote the part will be manufactured and despatched to you in the shortest time possible. Days not weeks.
All parts manufactured by us can be supplied painted or untreated.
